Implemented changes to the game based on feedback received during the jam, along with several bug fixes.
- Critical Bug Fixes
- Escape Pod Bug Fix ; Fixed the bug where if the monster was sometimes in the esacpe pod when the relevant quests starts, it skips that quest.
- Monster can not go in the escape pod by itself, making is a safe zone but monster can be lured in the escape pod.
- Monster Chase Fixes: Resolved issues where the monster was chasing the player but wasn’t catching them, and made catches during transitions clearer.
- Checkpoint System Fixed: Ensured that the checkpoint system functions reliably and fixed quest overlapping when restarting the game.
- Gameplay and UI Improvements
- Monster AI refined.
- Quest progression made clearer.
- Crew logs made easier to spot and interact.
- Made luring cooldown easier to see.
- Made the sound when monster is near louder and more significant.
- Additional Enhancments
- Introduced slow walk tutorial
- Minor Lights and Background tweaks
- Tons of minor bug fixes
